Our Commitment to Your Privacy
TextScore is designed with privacy as a core principle. We are committed to transparency about our data practices and minimizing the information we collect. This policy explains what we collect, what we explicitly do not collect, and how we handle your data.
Information We Do Not Collect or Store
Your submitted text for analysis is processed entirely in memory and is never stored, logged, or collected by our servers. Once the analysis is complete and the results are sent to your browser, the text is immediately and permanently discarded from our systems.
We do not save, share, or use your content for any purpose beyond providing you with the real-time analysis results. The only exception is when you explicitly choose to submit your text and its analysis for our review via the "Help Us Improve" feedback feature.
Information We Collect
We collect a limited set of information to operate and improve the Service:
- Voluntary Feedback Submissions: If you choose to submit feedback, we collect the text you shared, its full analysis report, and the submission timestamp. This data is used exclusively for service improvement and model training.
- Anonymized Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand general site usage patterns, such as which features are most popular. IP anonymization is enabled.
- Bot Detection Data: We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect the service from automated abuse. This service may collect hardware, software, and user interaction data for security purposes.
Third-Party Services
TextScore utilizes the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 & Google Analytics 4: These services are used for bot protection and usage analytics, respectively. Your use of our Service is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- OpenAI API: For AI-powered analysis (Phase 2), your text is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train their models. You can review the OpenAI API Data Usage Policies for more information.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third-party services to understand their data practices fully.
